I'm very honored to be presenting one of my Smithsonian Journeys lectures next week! We'll be talking about Women's work -- the Art and Craft of weaving in rural Morocco.
Join me for a virtual lecture!
Women’s Work: The Art and Craft of Weaving in Rural Morocco
Presented by Smithsonian Journeys
October 20, 2020 | 2:00pm - 3:00pm EDT
Register for the lecture
This is especially good timing as I had a Smithsonian Journeys trip scheduled for this October, but then again, that was before Covid temporarily halted all of our travel plans... In the meantime, this lecture series holds even more weight, representing a chance to dive deep into a different country, culture, or idea -- all from the comfort of your own home!
I know we're all longing to travel again. We're dreaming of new adventures and explorations. For the time being, this lecture series scratches that itch. It brings the world a little bit closer by giving you an inside look into architecture, art, history, geology, and so much more through the eyes of Smithsonian Journeys experts.
I love that Smithsonian Journeys has put together this free online lecture series and I'm excited to share the artisans story about weaving in Morocco! I hope you can join us Tuesday October 22nd from 2pm to 3pm EDT.
