I am so happy with my beautiful runner from Kantara. The colors are so vibrant and bright in the entrance hall, they amaze and delight me every time I see them. I hope I can find an excuse to buy another original and purposeful rug from Kantara, supporting Moroccan women in their own fair trade economy.
We have ordered several rugs and some smaller items from Kantara. All have arrived quickly, and we have been more than pleased with everything that we’ve ordered. During a recent trip to Morocco, I met Alia the founder of Kantara. She was so passionate about the women that weave these intricate and beautiful rugs. So after I returned home, I decided to explore the site and make a purchase. I had no need of a new rug but I was inspired to make a purchase. When the rug arrived I was so pleased! It was more beautiful than it looked on the website and every time I walk into my kitchen, I'm happy just looking at it. Maybe I will get another rug I don't need because there is something very special about these Moroccan rugs!
I absolutely love this purple rug that Alia designed and had her artisans in Morocco make. It is plush on one side so that you can use the two sides for different seasons if desired.
I've wanted a runner in our bathroom since we completed its renovation in 2016 but the combination of needing an odd (narrow) size and being unwilling to sacrifice the design meant we've been rug-less all these years. That all changed the second I laid eyes on this rug (ironically while I was shopping for a different project entirely) and knew in an instant it was the one. When I first saw the design it stopped me in my tracks--it's exactly my taste! It wasn't until I saw the dimensions that I literally yelped with joy. The ideal dimensions, vibrant colors, and overall design could not be more perfect--it looks as if it were made for the space. As a designer, finding that last piece of the puzzle that make things feel meant to be for your own projects can feel like a lifelong journey...as silly as it may sound, this runner was truly worth the wait! I was so thrilled at the quick communication from Alia, beautiful packaging, and upgraded shipping to get it here in time for our massive holiday party celebration. Even my toddler commented to say she loved it (the toughest critic of them all)!! Looking forward to my next reason to purchase from Alia and Kantara in the future.

As a designer it is my job to seek well made and beautiful things that fit a wide range of budgets. When I found Kantara I was very impressed. The quality, colors, price and service were impeccable. Ended up buying three rugs and will be back for other projects. I would be thrilled to have these in my own home and will soon!

I am beyond thrilled with my new rug from Kantara. I wanted a rug for my study and the color and sizes of the rugs on the website did not fit the space and color scheme of the room. I worked with Alia at Kantara who used photos of the room to help me design just the right rug for the area. The computer-generated designs she used made the process so easy as I could envision the rug in the space. Alia kept in touch so I knew when the rug would arrive and it looks even better than I'd hoped for. Highly recommend!

This rug is absolutely gorgeous and so so soft. Our 3-year-old can't stop rolling around on it and honestly, we don't blame her. The soft plush feels amazing underfoot. The little pops of blue and tan are gorgeous. We feel lucky to have this beautiful rug in our house!
