Overview:

They just don't make rugs like this anymore! This is a vintage Rehamna rug with layers of subtleties when it comes to the colors. The underside of the rug is a rich red color, which influences the overall tone of the rug. The result is that the rug ebbs and flows between faded purples and oranges. Technically it's a handknotted rug, but the fiber has worn down over time, giving it the feel of a flatweave rug. The scalloped edges of this rug are woven with a dark brown goat's hair and throughout the rug, you see some of those fibers tufting through. This would be a great rug for a living room, an office space, or under the foot of the bed.
