As a designer it is my job to seek well made and beautiful things that fit a wide range of budgets. When I found Kantara I was very impressed. The quality, colors, price and service were impeccable. Overview:

This vintage oversized Moroccan rug packs in the designs in expert fashion. Thanks to the uniformity of the rugs' color family, the quantity of designs never feels overwhelming. Instead, we marvel at the intricacy of the design, the crispness of the individual symbols, and the rugs' expert weave. They don't make things like they used to! This rug would do well in a large open space with tall ceilings, lots of natural sunlight. This is a pile rug but it almost feels like a flatweave rug as the wool has worn down over time. This makes the rug quite versatile in terms of where you place it-- either in a living room, at the foot of a bed, or under a dining table.
