This is a small vintage Glaoui rug featuring traditional colorways of orange, pink, black and white. These rugs are made up of a mix of weaving styles, including hand-knotted sections, embroidered bands, and a flatweave background. In addition to being used for home decor, these rugs often doubled as a way to transport personal belongings for the nomadic Glaoui tribes.
