Overview:

This is a vintage boucherouite rug featuring a banded background that plays with various colors -- from blue, to seafoam green, to shades of red. On top of this background are three columns of diamonds that appear in various shapes, sizes, and colors. Boucherouites gained notoriety as rag rugs and often feature a mix of cotton and wool. Because of their cotton fibers, they're slightly easier to clean than wool rugs, which make them great rugs for kitchens, bathrooms, or for kids' rooms.
