Overview:

This modern, Akhanif rug from the High Atlas region was made by our artisan partners in the south of Morocco. Akhanif rugs are characterized by their embroidered details which are woven on top of the rest of the kilim. This particular piece comes in a beautiful blue color, with hints of green-- not quite a teal, not quite a true blue. Thanks to its size and weave structure, it would be a great rug for under a dining room table. Alternatively, keep it in a larger living room for a modern, cool, calm, and collected feel.
