Overview:

This rug is a typical Kharita rug, which is named after the wavy, organic patterns. In Arabic, "Kharita" means map, and it is said that these rugs represent a map of the land. The weave structure on these rugs is unique in that these rugs are reversible -- you see the same pattern on either side of the rug. This piece features a warm color palette of yellow, red, brown, peach, and army green. A smaller throw rug, we recommend placing this next to the bed, in a bathroom, or kitchen, or hanging it on the wall.
