This rug is almost a perfect square which is rare to find in Moroccan rugs. Bright orange and purple splashes of color complement the base colors made up of maroon, black, and forest green pile. Because of their cotton fibers, they're slightly easier to clean than wool rugs, which make them great rugs for kitchens, bathrooms, or for kids' rooms. Thanks to its small size, these throw rugs are quite versatile in terms of where you place them in your home. This rug has a sister rug within our collection that has similar size and colorways.

Thanks to our longstanding relationship with these highly skilled Moroccan artisans, we are able to curate and design authentic rugs and pillows that both preserve the ancient weaving traditions and add a modern touch.
Moroccan rugs are heirloom pieces that age well and are embedded with the living histories of the weavers, the symbols of their tribal regions, and the markings of both traditional and modern rug designs. Each tribal region in Morocco boasts its own weaving style- from modern black and white Beni Ourain rugs in the north, to the colorful and abstract Azilal high pile rugs, to the low pile rugs of the southern Ait Ouaouzguite region. While the process of weaving is the same throughout Morocco, the colors, textures, and patterns vary greatly from one region to the next. The artisans we work with are skilled at creating hand-knotted, thicker pile rugs, as well as weaving geometric Moroccan kilims, boucherouite rag rugs, and double-sided handira wedding blankets. The results of this are colorful, eclectic, and bohemian rugs that are perfect for any home — from throw rugs to hallway runners to area living room rugs.
