Overview:

This is a vintage boucherouite rug made from wool and cotton. The base color is a deep purple and the central lozenges appear in a complementary bright yellow. Within the diamond designs, you find a checkerboard featuring what almost likes Mardi Gras colors. While this rug has a central medallion and a clear border, one of the lozenges is bigger than the other, giving the rug an organic feel.
