Overview:

We love the abstract shapes of the diamonds that fill this red boucherouite rug. They're organic, expressive, and filled with many complimentary colors. Boucherouites gained notoriety as rag rugs and often feature a mix of cotton and wool. Because of their cotton fibers, they're slightly easier to clean than wool rugs, which make them great rugs for kitchens, bathrooms, or for kids' rooms. While this piece is a handknotted rug, it's worn down in parts giving the piece the look and feel of a flatweave or low-pile rug.
