This vintage Taznkaht rug evokes the landscape where it's made -- Morocco's arid anti-Atlas mountains on the edge of the Sahara. Most vintage rugs from this region feature the burnt orange and red colors that are hand-knotted in a silky very low-pile arrangement. It's typical to find the central medallion with 2-3 border features surrounding the entire rug. In true vintage nature, these rugs are often long and narrow. This would be a great piece for an office space, a living room, or at the foot of a bed.
