Overview:
We were drawn to the design of this rug -- abstract shapes playing with weight and form. Up close, we notice that the artisans were also playing with materials; most of the rug is woven with black and white wool, however the colorful tufts and speckled black sections are woven with cotton. This adds a bit of a sculptural quality to the rug, adding to its uniqueness. As a smaller rug, this would work well next to the bed, in an office, a large bathroom, or wherever else you find to showcase it.

Because each rug is handwoven, slight variations are part of the charm. Some rugs may not be perfectly rectangular and can be slightly wider or narrower at one end. If a rug varies more than 4" across its width or length, we’ll note it in the product description. Anything under 4" is considered a normal allowance for handcrafted pieces like these.
We’ve made every effort to accurately represent the colors within the rugs, but the colors displayed may vary slightly from the actual piece. The appearance of colors can be influenced by various factors, including monitor calibration, brightness, and other settings. Each screen displays colors differently, and everyone perceives colors uniquely. If precise color matching is critical, please reach out for further information!
The simplest, time-tested method is straight from Morocco: hang your rug in the sun for a few hours, then shake it out well before bringing it back inside. This regular airing out is the best way to keep your rug fresh and dust-free. Beyond that, care depends on the rug’s material and construction. For instance cotton boucherouites are the easiest to clean - just throw them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and air dry. Longer pile rugs should be vacuumed with care. For stains or heavy dirt, we recommend professional cleaning, especially if the rug is wool or vintage. Most rug cleaning services charge around $5–6 per square foot.

A $50 restocking fee applies. Return shipping via Fedex or UPS is your responsibility and must be completed within 5 business days of approval.
