As a designer it is my job to seek well made and beautiful things that fit a wide range of budgets. When I found Kantara I was very impressed. The quality, colors, price and service were impeccable. Overview:

A new take on old designs, this rug draws its inspiration from many weaving styles in the south of Morocco. This rug is a mixed weave rug. The base appears as a flatweave kilim while certain motifs may either be embroidered on top of the rug or they may appear as a low pile design. This rug is exciting in its seeming abstract and playful use of traditional motifs. this would work well as a living room or dining room rug.
