Overview:
This shaggy Moroccan rug is super fun -- made in the boucherouite style of rug, it features a mix of white sheep's wool, colorful cotton fibers, and upcycled fabric. This is an older, vintage piece. The areas where this is most notable are in the white wool sections that are worn down with age. These areas are contrasted by the longer pile of the cotton zig zags that run throughout the rug. In the middle of the rug, you find these funky pink and orange checkered blocks that bring a little playful energy to the piece. This would be a great rug for a kitchen, a kid's room, or at the foot of a bed.

The simplest, time-tested method is straight from Morocco: hang your rug in the sun for a few hours, then shake it out well before bringing it back inside. This regular airing out is the best way to keep your rug fresh and dust-free. Beyond that, care depends on the rug’s material and construction. For instance cotton boucherouites are the easiest to clean - just throw them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and air dry. Longer pile rugs should be vacuumed with care.
