As a designer it is my job to seek well made and beautiful things that fit a wide range of budgets. When I found Kantara I was very impressed. The quality, colors, price and service were impeccable. Overview:

This custom-made runner has that vintage look with its faded navy blue and asymmetrical designs. This design was based on an old rug that we fell in love with a long time ago and never forgot. It was recreated by our artisan partners in the Middle Atlas mountains. While this style of abstract weaving is a departure from their more traditional geometric rugs, they did a wonderful job with this piece. As a darker rug, this would do best on a light colored floor -- either a blond wood, cement, or white floor. We recommend placing a thicker rug pad underneath for the best feeling underfoot.
