Overview:

This modern Zanafi rug was made by our artisan partners in the south of Morocco. Contemporary Zanafi rugs feature a thicker, more durable geometric weave. Where you might have only found small banded sections of black and white Zanafi weaving in older rugs, modern Zanafi rugs appear in many different colors, like this baby blue rug. This rug is reversible, with the inverse image of the design reflected on the underside of the rug. The two sides are almost identical. The difference between the top and bottom side is most visible with rugs that feature larger design and higher contrast colors.
