This large Moroccan kilim in shades of rose pink and light purple features a geometric pattern with intricate details. This is a contemporary rug woven in the Zanafi method and is a one-of-a-kind piece, thanks to its design, the flawless weaving technique used to make it, and the rug's gradient color palette. The Zanafi style comes from the Ait Ouaouzguite tribal region, near Ouarzazate in Morocco's southeast. Gorgeous Rugs!

During a recent trip to Morocco, I met Alia the founder of Kantara. She was so passionate about the women that weave these intricate and beautiful rugs. So after I returned home, I decided to explore the site and make a purchase. I had no need of a new rug but I was inspired to make a purchase. When the rug arrived I was so pleased! It was more beautiful than it looked on the website and every time I walk into my kitchen, I'm happy just looking at it. Maybe I will get another rug I don't need because there is something very special about these Moroccan rugs!

Gorgeous purple Moroccan Rug!

I absolutely love this purple rug that Alia designed and had her artisans in Morocco make. It is plush on one side so that you can use the two sides for different seasons if desired.
