Boujaad is situated in the coastal planes, approximately 3 hours east of Casablanca. Rarely appearing on the Lonely Planet or Rough Guide maps, Boujaad, is nonetheless, a charming town. Known throughout Morocco for its Saints' tombs, it is a popular pilgrimage destination for the pious and elderly. The Medina is clean and ample dotted all over by colorful doors and lovely arches. It is also known throughout the region for its weekly souks or outdoor markets.
